Located north of San Francisco, Sonoma County is replete with beautiful places to see. The following are just a few:

-Francis Ford Coppola Winery: Located in Geyserville, this family-operated winery produces more than 40 wines on its sustainably farmed vineyards. In addition to touring the winemaking facilities, visitors can relax in the estate’s private cabanas and enjoy an afternoon of swimming and playing bocce ball.

-Armstrong Redwoods Reserve: Visitors looking for outdoor adventure should stop at Armstrong Redwoods Reserve, which has hiking trails for all fitness levels. Those looking for a flat, easy trail can enjoy a simple loop beneath the tall redwoods, and those looking for a challenge can climb uphill ridges or hike 3 miles to the Austin Creek State Recreation Area.

-Safari West: Located in Santa Rosa, Safari West features 400 acre of land dedicated to wildlife preservation. The park features over 700 exotic animals, including cheetahs, giraffes, warthogs, gazelles, and white rhinos.
