About Me

After studying communications at the University of Iowa in Iowa City and completing a semester of advertising and multi-media courses at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Jeanne Marcis transferred to Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, where she received a Bachelor Of Science in Journalism with a minor in Sociology. She graduated in 1993, and subsequently worked for nine years as an advertising sales consultant with the Advertiser Network in Lake County, Illinois.

Jeanne Marcis currently serves as a Senior Multimedia Solutions Consultant at the Lake County headquarters of Clipper Magazine. Over her 14 years with Clipper, she has earned multiple professional honors, including a 2002 national Sales Rookie of the Year nomination, and a 2010 Salesperson of the Year award. Additionally, she ranks in the highest sales volume of off-page products in the midwest region.

When she isn’t working, Jeanne Marcis enjoys boating on Illinois’ Chain of Lakes and Fox River. She is also an avid gardener who grows a range of vegetables and landscape enhancements.
